FunkyNChunky was formed in 2014 after many visits to Ghana. Our Founder is a multi award winner who has dedicated her career to empowering and supporting women, young people and small businesses.
We work with Ghana based creatives and social entrepreneurs to produce and create unique and bold accessories.
We sell handmade african print bags, backpacks, jewellery and accessories.
A percentage of our profits support our start up and community projects via Inspirational YOU who have delivered hundreds of events to up-skill, grow and promote wellbeing, career change and business growth.
We are also launching a new Saturday School in Brixton, South West London (London Borough of Lambeth) to support families who would otherwise be unable to secure a place for their child to attend. The school will teach English, Maths, Coding, Debating and Martial Arts.
FunkyNChunky are also supporters of the Ghana based not-for profit Revolutionary Underground, who coordinate the Ghana Girls Learning Hub based in Accra. This project sponsors, mentors and provides resources for local students.
We are always seeking mentors and donations to support the girls education and ability to study. Please email us if you would like to volunteer or get involved with either project in London or Ghana.
